Autonomic Names Ken Johnston Chief Executive Officer

Palo Alto, California, August 29, 2022 – Autonomic is pleased to announce Ken Johnston as its new Chief Executive Officer as the company continues to scale and advance the capabilities of its Transportation Mobility Cloud (TMC) platform.
In addition to his new role at Autonomic, Johnston also serves as Director of Data Platforms and Analytics at Autonomic’s parent company, Ford Motor Company, which he joined in May of this year. In this role, Johnston leads the Ford Model e Data Platforms and Analytics team, which is responsible for modeling telemetry derived from the TMC to build insights, create SaaS solutions, and enhance features that enrich the driver experience, and acts as both a contributor and consumer of TMC data streams.
Prior to his role at Ford, Johnston held a number of engineering and business management positions at Microsoft over a 25-year tenure. Most recently, he served as Data Science and Data Engineering Manager where he primarily focused on graph and AI models for AI-driven selling, marketing, and business intelligence. Some of his notable accomplishments in this role include implementing an ethical AI program across a 5,000 person organization, recruiting a team of PhD-level data scientists and engineers to deliver large scale multi-terabyte daily streams, and delivering the Windows 8.1 App store with high quality.

Johnston succeeds Rich Strader who is retiring after nearly 30 years at Ford Motor Company. Strader will be helping Johnston transition into his new role.
